On Sunday the Rwanda National Police has arrested two pastors from the Inkuru Nziza Church for having violated the law enforcement to close duty and noisy churches. One of the Kigali city officials told Umuseke that the ones under Police arrest are Pastor Zirimwabagabo and Eric Birindabagabo.
One of their Christian followers revealed that they conducted their worshipping activities in the church’s background at the time when Police officers and Kigali city officials arrested their pastors.
The Inkuru Nziza church is closed in a bid to implement the Kigali city’s decision to close 700 churches that do not fulfill hygienic and logistical conditions for the safety of their followers.
Rwanda National Police warns all pastors willing to break the enforcement of the Kigali city decision that they will face prosecution.
Some of them, however, are under Police arrest as the RNP Spokesperson CP Theos Badege told media.
Those include Apostle Rwandamura Charles, ( (Rtd Col)) R. Pastor Nyamurangwa Fred, Bishop Rugagi Innocent, Rev. Ntambara Emmanuel, Pastor Dura James, and Pastor Kalisa Shyaka Emmanuel.
