As the countrywide cycling championship Tour du Rwanda 2017 draws near various international cycling teams have registered and confirmed to attend it. Among them is a Canadian one labeled LowestRates that has stars such as Timothy Rugg .
The team leader told media that they bear in mind two things namely winning more than two phases and strengthening ties with Rwanda.
The upcoming tour du Rwanda will start from 12 to 19 November.
The LowestRates team from Canada attends the Tour du Rwanda for its second time as it was in Rwanda in 2016 to compete for the above mentioned Tour.
During that session, The Canadian based cycling won two important phases both won by the American rider Timothy Rugg.
The team manager of The LowestRates Frédérick Gates said that they plan to perform better that they did in 2016.
He revealed to one of local media in Canada that they collected diverse useful items to help fellow Rwandans while they will be participating into the Tour du Rwanda.
Rwandan teams to participate into the coming championship are training in Musanze, Nyabihu and Rubavu districts.
Last championship was won by the Rwandan rider Valens Ndayisenga.
