Remera –More 35 big buses have been brought in Kigali as to boost transport in the Kigali city. These cars that are properties of the KBS, Royal and RFTC transport companies will increase the availability of buses in different corners of Kigali city.
The cars were bought by Rwandan businessmen for the amount of 600 million Rwandan francs. The increasing number of the passengers in Kigali city has created a need for more and speedy buses so to boost the transport in on-growing city.
Charles Ngarambe the owner of the KBS transport company has appreciated the recent reforms made in transport sector. He said that this new system have bore positive fruits as more passengers do reach their destinations quicker and easier.
The Mayor of Kigali city, Fidel Ndayisaba commended all stakeholders who joined efforts to solving the transport related challenges in Kigali city.
More 45 other similar buses will be made available in the forthcoming days.
