Minister Joseph Habineza has been widely known for his activities that promoted sports and music related activities during his exercise as the Minister of Youth and Sports.
He resigned after being reported of having flirted with the young girls. Since then he was been appointed as the ambassador in both Ghana and Nigeria.
This Thursday he has sworn in as a new member of the cabinet, having the same responsibilities as he had before his resignation.
As he swore in today, many parliamentarians displayed his their joyful feelings about his nomination. Many people commented through the social media accounts welcoming the new member of the cabinet, namely Joel Habineza.
He supported the One Dollar Company activities which aimed at collecting money for the construction of accommodation facilities for the needy young 1994 genocide survivors.
He has also invited different international players in Rwanda including Rigobert Song, Yaya Touré, Samuel Eto’o and Didier Drogba, and he supported the CAN U17 Rwandan players in 2011.
