The locals from different sectors of Gisagara, Mamba, Gishubi are committed to step ahead with the social and economic infrastructures made available to them.
These sectors are bordering the neighboring Burundi. Most of its dwellers are cultivators who have endured economic hindrances but who currently are changing their mindsets as the developmental activities are being carried in their neighborhoods.
Formerly most of its inhabitants were less educated and were less concerned with developmental issues.
In these sectors, the Turkish investors have started setting up different economic infrastructures, including schools, accommodation facilities, health centers, among others.
One of the most important activity that is being done in the area joining Save-Buye and the Akanyaru river towards Burundi.
Electric power supplies have been made available in different cells such as Kabumbwe, Gakoma and Gishubi.
Locals are currently living in the Imidugudu neighborhoods in order to benefit from the available infrastructures, including water sanitation and electric power supplies.
Kamirindi is one of the locals who were compensated for his upon which some of the infrastructures have been build, has been contacted by UM– USEKE reporter.
With the 10 million Rwf, I started my small investment that are providing me sufficient money and therefore improving my living conditions, he said.
A local farmer called Silas Musonera revealed that he is ready to work closely with the investors who have set up different developmental activities.
The locals have changed their substance agriculture into the market-oriented agriculture, and this has better changed their living conditions.
