According to Dr Muhirwa Patrick the Head of Muhima hospital who spoke to UM– USEKE, has informed that the died patient was not suffering of EVD (Ebola Virus Disease).
He told us that the real cause of female patient will be made public within forthcoming 48 hours.
The died female patient called Mukamakuza Maria reached the hospital on Tuesday and was presenting symptoms of intense fever and pain in the womb. As she reached to the Hospital, she died.
This news was provided by Dr Muhire Patrick the Head of Muhima Hospital as to contradict the rumors according which the patient was a victim of EBOLA disease. He therefore told us that the patient died due to Malaria sickness instead of Ebola.
In recent days, the Rwandan medical bodies affirm that drastic measures have been taken as to hinder the Ebola from entering Rwandan territory and citizens were mobilized about the ways to treat any suspect case.
The Ebola disease has killed not less than 2000 people in the West Africa and this has created an international agitated atmosphere where medical and political officials are alerted about a worldwide Ebola break.
