The official in the FERWEFA in charge of public relations has informed UM– USEKE that challenges related to budget hindered the Rwandan football team from playing a friendly match with the Kosovo national football team.
Amavubi national football team prepared itself to play two matches: one with Morocco team scheduled to take place on 6 to 14 October and another one with the Morocco team (the one that will not be played due to the reason highlighted above).
This match was scheduled to take place on 10 to 18 November 2014.
The Amavubi national team is currently undergoing training for the coming CECAFA national championship to take place in Ethiopia in the December.
The place to host the match between both Rwanda and Kosovo was not yet selected by the concerned bodies
The PR officer in the FERWAFA, Bonny Mugabe affirms that the match between both nations will not materialize due to budget-related hindrances.
