Minister of trade Kanimba Francois has awarded the best business people who participated into a trade fair held in Rwamagana during the past two weeks.
Two institutions that were awarded include IPRC East and BRD for the quality of the items presented and for the usefulness of the items and services delivered throughout the trade fair.
This trade fair that started since 18, September was attended by different business people involving 138 Rwandans and seven foreigners and was prepared by the Private Sector Federation and the East Province authorities.
Foreigners come from countries such as Tanzania, India, Uganda, Kenya and Pakistan.
The Principal of the IPRC East Ing. Ephrem Musonera lauded the efforts provided by all the IPRC staff so to achieve the level of appreciation that brought the school at the first rank.
The President of the PSF Gasamagerra Benjamin said that the quality of the products presented during the trade fair provides an overview of the quality of the products that Rwandan business people will be able to bring to the market in the near future.
The trade fair presenters from the IPRC East were able to fabricate a technological means by which users can switch on or switch off an electric lamp via a mobile phone Bluetooth app.
IPRC East was able to present to its clients a technical means enabling the users to open or close a door at home through the use of a telephone short message
The Governor of the East Province Odette Uwamariya urged local schools and development partners to spread these technological means to the population as to increase the use of these useful tools susceptible of increasing their social and economic welfare.
Minister Kanimba said that this kind of the trade fairs sessions should increase both in numbers and in attendance so that the outcomes might considerably benefit to a wider number.
