Kigali, Rwanda. March, 2016 – Airtel Rwanda today celebrated Women’s Day and hosted Access Bank officials, to talk to Airtel women staff about the W Initiative that advocates to transforming women lives financially.
The celebrations took place at the Airtel Headquarters and called upon Airtel women staff to take full advantage of opportunities that will help them achieve their long held dreams and aspirations in life through consuming banking products from Access Bank.
While inaugurating the celebrations, Airtel Rwanda, Managing Director Michael Nii Boye Adjei in his remarks encouraged the Airtel women staff to work hard and not let their gender be a hinderance in life.

Cynthia Mutete from Women Banking Unit in Access bank, in her presentation also stressed that the W – Initiative was put in place to support Young Professional Women, Women in Families and Women in Business.
“A side from enjoying low rate loans, Airtel women staff with a recognized Access Bank Visa Card will access services like Salons, Shopping malls and Gym that are in partnership with Access Bank”, Mutete added
