The launch of the construction of the SDGs center for Africa was headed by HE Paul Kagame as he inaugurated a meeting held in Kigali this Friday in the Kigali Convention Center in Kigali. The high level meeting was attended by different high ranking officials including the Nigerian mogul Aliko Dangote.
Over 24 guests from across Africa attended the meeting presided by President Kagame who lauded the fact that the Center is established in Rwanda.
For him this will motivate Rwandans and Africans in general to increase their efforts in making the SGS s real and fruitful.
Among the dignified guests was the CEO of the Japan International Cooperation Agency, the AU Secretariat candidate Dr Amina Mohamed, among others.
President Kagame said that for the SDGs to get achieved, all concerned actors should combine efforts and make it happen.
He thanked Dr Begashaw and Dr Amina Mohamed for having backed him in advocating for the SDGs Center for Africa to be installed in Kigali.
The Rwandan Head of State Paul Kagame said that these initiatives are meant to help the whole continent to be emerge from the extreme poverty and become more self reliant.
