The Head of State Paul Kagame and his wife have arrived in Beijing for a two days official visit. The presidential delegation comprises of many high ranking officials including Rwandan Minister of foreign affairs Louise Mushikiwabo.
Upon his arrival, President Kagame and his team was welcomed by Chinese officials alongside the Rwandan Ambassador in China Gen Charles Kayonga.
On Wednesday, President Kagame attended a Rwanda-China Investment Forum where bilateral economic ties were discussed in order to strengthen them.
50 big Chinese companies attended the forum.
The Rwanda-China relations are cordial for 45 past years and yielded many results in various areas including medicine, infrastructure, and education, among other sectors.
President Kagame is welcomed by the Chinese President Xi JinPing
The President Paul Kagame is welcomed by his counterpart Xi Jinping of China. President Kagame is undertaking a two days official visit in China.
The visit will be an occasion for Rwanda to increase the existing relations with China.
