Lieutenant Fidel Bugingo, one the RDF soldiers in Darfur passed away Monday,5th August 2013, in sudden circumstances .The Umuryango.com reports that Lieutenant Bugingo was part of the 105 bn operating in the El Fashel region,Darfur.
He passed away at home after returning home.
“He was at home after leaving the night from patrolling activities.He removed his uniform and at the time when he was going to take a birth, he has fallen down and died at that very time” an eyewitness said .
The Spokesperson of the RDF,Brig Gen Joseph Nzabamwita states that the RDF elements in Darfur do not have any prob;lem that can hamper their effectiveness and affirms that his death happened suddenly.
‘The task ahead is to take care of his family’added Brig Gen Nzabamwita.
News says that the soldiers in Darfur are hardworking even despite the rest they usually enjoy.
Until now the roots of the death of the Lieutenant are still unknown as the medical diagnostic about the roots of his death is still not yet published.
Lieutenant Bugingo is the third Rwandan UNAMID soldier who lost his life after Pte Callixte Rwagasore and Cpl Nsengiyumva Joseph from the 53 Battalion who passed away last month.
The body of the Late Bugingo will be brought in Rwanda in coming days.
