The Nyarugenge Court found Mr Ndagijimana innocent after corruption charges over his presumed attempts to hide his wealth to General auditor.
The Court pronounced its decisions on the innocent of Mr Ndagijimana and the Judge ordered that Ndagijimana has to be given 800.000 Rwandan Francs ,the amount of money he was accused to have given to the Ombudsman Office agent as a corruption.
During a public hearing that took place on 14,August,Ndagijiman defended himself saying that he is not guilty as for him these accusations are fabricated by recently chased away workers of the District aiming at overthrowing him.
Ndagijimana added that these workers sent him tracts or pamphlets to inform him on their coming plans to challenge him.For him fellow workers used the agent from the Ombudsman to attain their wishes.
The Ombudsman office representative during the hearing denied the decisions saying that many proofs attest the involvement of Ndagijimana in the corruption.
Mr Nkurunziza denies that the Ombudsman office planned to bring Mr Ndagijimana to the court under the influence of other people.
“The Ombudsman Office in an independent entity that carries out its activities freely” says Mr Nkurunziza.
For Nkurunziza the Body of judge has minimized the credibility of the proofs the Persecution has brought the court.
The persecution says it intends to keep on pursuing its accusations against Mr Ndagijimana about his attempts to hide his wealth to the Ombudsman Office.
On 2nd,August,2013 ,the Office of the Ombudsman has said that the Mr Ndagijimana attempted to give an agent of the Ombudsman office a sum of 800.000,the first part of a total amount of 1.500.000 Rwandan Francs.
