The newly elected Executive Secretary of Rwanda Media Commission, Mr Fred Muvunyi promises that the organ he represents will strive to bring responses about key concerns of journalists.
Muvunyi told Umuseke that a businessman willing to set a media company should be able to pay journalists.
For Muvunyi the success of the RMC is basically rooted into close collaboration between media professionals and stakeholders in the profession.
The new self-regulatory organ will set up a conducive working environment for Rwandan journalists with friendly relations between professionals.
The new committee comprises, Mr Muvunyi Fred, the President ,Mr Chreophas Barore, Ms Emma Claudine Ntirenganya, with other four commissioners to assist the team.
The new committee replaces the interim one that was presided by Mr Robert Mugabe.
This newly elected committee has experienced advisors namely:Dr Nkaka Raphael from National University of Rwanda, Ms Ingabire Immaculee, from Transparency International Rwanda and Mr Laurent Nkongori ,a Lawyer.
