IGP Mr Emmanuel Gasana says that the youth that bike motors are part and parcel of national development efforts. He said this during a ceremony to provide new garment to wear as their motorists identification, a garment labeled Kigali word in its back.
He thanked all motor bikers for their commitment to professionalize their work and keep contributing to economic development.
The Mayor of Kigali Mr Fidel Ndayisaba said that all these efforts are meant to promote effective collaboration between Kigali authorities and its stakeholders.
One of the best initiatives that Kigali city wants the youth to promote is the Smart Kigali program for IT learning and promotion.
Nshimiyimana Jean Bosco , one of the motorists told Umuseke.rw that current Kigali city policies do facilitate them to be learn more about government policies and apply them.
We appreciate this new garment as to looks smarter and cooler than the previous one, Mr Nshimiyimana affirms.
Kigali city counts 19 cooperatives having not less than 7910 motorists, an active youth to contribute to development of Rwanda.
