Rwandan air traffic company, Rwandair, has stopped its normal flights to Juba, South Sudanese capital city due to the current instability that prevails. The situation worsened after the Sudanese army aborted an attempted coup against President Salva Kiir.
Rwandan-flyer.com released a communiqué on the situation whereby gunfire has been heard in the Juba airport thus stopping the Rwandair flights in the country before the situation improves.
President of S.Sudan Salva Kiir affirmed that Sudanese army has repulsed a coup attempt and added that Sudanese military forces keep hunting down people who masterminded the coup.
