Through the ministry of education, the Rwanda National Students Forum is hosting the African summit with the Self Reliance for Africa as the theme.
The summit which is supposed to be officially closed this Friday by His Excellence Paul Kagame is said to be a good opportunity for students to share ideas and get connected which can help them to develop themselves even still studying.
This youth summit will be attended by students’ representatives from forty countries of Africa, representatives of from different colleges of the University of Rwanda, senior government officials from these countries and academic staff from all these universities.
The president of the Rwanda National Students Forum, Daniel Komezusenge says it is a good opportunity for them learn from the participants of the Summit.
“We will hear what they have to tell us and be able to share experiences” he says.
He also said that they will be able to learn many things from each other as the educational systems varies from one country to another.
This summit is said to be fruitful to students from the University of Rwanda who are attending the Summit, said by Komezusenge.
It is intended that all resolutions that will come out after the Summit will be integrated into the education policies so to supplement the existing education strategies in all countries concerned.
