The Rwanda defenses forces deployed in CAR have started to disarm the Anti Balaka militias who, during the past months are eager to revenge themselves against the Seleka militias composed by Muslims.
The RDF were deployed in the CAR on few days ago to help in re-establishing the order and peace among people from Central African Republic. RDF is entitled to keep the security in the North of Bangui.
Rwandan troops will also ensure the security in key institutions including the State house of the President of the Republic of Central African republic and the International airport in North Bangui.
RDF troops are under the commandment of Lt Col J.P Karangwa. The whole Rwandan contingent will be fully composed by 850 soldiers.
