Yesterday in Muhanga, in Nyamabuye Sector, a dead body of a man who worked as security keeper at one of local small financial institutions called CPF Ineza was found dead. The circumstances that led to his death are under investigation.
The body of this 27 years old man was found by TIGO workers at the surrounding building locally known as the Kanyarutoki House in which the financial institution CPF Ineza is set.
Mugunga Jean Baptiste, the leader of the Nyamabuye sector said that after hearing the information, officials intervened and found the dead person.
They examined the body to see whether it was killed with a machete or something else but did not found any thing that might have been used to kill him.
Further investigation is being carried out as to find out whether people suspected to be in bad relationship with him before his death might have been responsible of his death.
Some of the local people affirm that the deceased might have been killed by some of his colleagues who were jealous about the new promotion he was given at the CPF and this might have been created the jealousy among his workmates.
Uwamaliya Chantal who is the manager of the CPF Ineza, told the reporter of UM– USEKE that the staff went back home after service and left Nkusi alive and active.
We have been surprised to find him dead in the morning when we were back to work, she said .
She also mentioned the fact that Nkusi has been in quarrels with his workmates sometime ago but it was not serious at an extent that it could cause him to be killed, she added.
The Police spokesperson in the South Province, Chief Superintendent Hubert Gashagaza said that the Police is carried out careful investigations so arrest all the persons involved and bring them to justice.
