Players of the AS Muhanga arrived at Muhanga district office to report to the Mayor of Muhanga their concerns about the delay of their salaries.
The players told UM– USEKE reporter that they want to get paid as soon as possible. They said that the team leaders have promised them to get paid but it is now four months after without being paid.
One of the players expressed his frustrations for the time passed without being paid while their families wait them to bring money home.
In recent past, the AS Muhanga players signed a petition according which the players will not play the 25 match of the ongoing championship.
However, the players accepted to play the match that is scheduled to take place at Kigali Stadium with the APR FC in the forthcoming days.
If the APR FC wins this match, it will be the champion of the season. The same if the AS Muhanga players deny to play the game, the APR FC will win the match likewise.
The players are discontented with how the authorities of the AS Muhanga deal with the hard situation players are undergoing, urging them to provide more support to them.
