The accident happened in Musanze district, Northern Province where a car being a property of the Rwanda Defenses Forces(RDF) has hit two Malawian female natives who were inside alongside two man and killed them. Those two women were making a visit to their husbands who are undergoing military training being held at Nyakinama Military Academy.
The root cause of the accident is still to be identified but Umuseke has got news according which the car lost its path, thus killing the two women who were embarked in.
The car also had two men inside who were severely injured but are currently under medical treatment in one of hospitals located in Kigali.
The Mayor of Rulindo district, Emmanuel Kayiranga confirmed the accident, adding that women’s bodies were carried to Nemba hospital.
He, however, said he doesn’t have any information on what happened further to men brought to Kigali hospital.
SP Jean Marie Vianney Ndushabandi who is the Spokesperson of the Police ( Traffic Police department) said that the accident has happened and the two Malawian women lost their lives at Hospital.
He added that the injured men were brought to Kanombe Military hospital where further investigations on their identity are being made.
