The total weekly turnover at the bourse slumped to Rwf 45.5 million this week, from Rwf 268.4 million last week in spite of Bank of Kigali’s (BK) busy share activity.
Today’s market report indicates a total of 133,800 shares were traded in 23 deals this week, compared to 818,600 shares traded in 40 deals last week.
However, the BK counter capped another impressive week, trading 17,800 shares today at between Rwf 260 and Rwf 260 each, raking in Rwf 4.7 million while 3,500 Bralirwa shares were traded at Rwf 450 with the share price unchanged from yesterday.
The total turnover for the day was Rwf 6.2 million, down from Rwf 10.8 million yesterday. The RSE share index (RSI) remained constant from yesterday’s 253.78 points.
