The outgoing Executive secretary of the African Union Commission Dr Nkosazana Dramini Zuma said that the hard working capabilities that Africans developed nowadays are revealing for brighter future for the continent. Dr Dramini Zuma said that as she completing her four years term, the outcome is positive.
For her, this was due to the joint cooperation between African political actors and partners in enhancing living conditions of Africans and restoring more peaceful environment.
Dr Zuma underlined that the African youth has remarkably embraced technological innovations, farmers improved farming techniques and skills…all of this being a pillar upon which the Africa can keep increasing its revenue and autonomy.
She thereafter emphasized the importance of upholding unity and other ingredients useful for Africans to be more coherent and productive.
Dr Dramini uttered that the future of Africa will be brighter as its leaders are willing to make it an industrial hub.
The President of the African Union Commission called upon young people to keep playing a pivotal role in developing the mother continent through embracing ICT related innovations.
She believes that Africa will become self reliant as the current achievements are positive and hope inspiring.
Dr Nkhosazana Dramini Zuma condemned some political leaders who overlook the citizens’ interests for their individual ones, revealing that this bears harming consequences.
These consequences include wars, civil wars, genocides, famines among other destructive outcomes, she underlined.
She commended the current restoration of peace in varying countries such as Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Egypt and in Madagascar, thus calling upon leaders in S.Sudan and Burundi to revise the ongoing political issues for peaceful endeavors that benefit their citizens.
