AIRTEL RWANDA announces new marketing Director

Airtel Rwanda has announced the appointment of Mr. Indrajeet Kumar Singh as the new Marketing Director of the telecom.

Mr. Singh has been the Country Head for Usage & Revenue at Airtel Networks Kenya for the past year and before atEssar telecom Kenya limited in Nairobi.

Singh brings with him over 12 years of wide – ranging experiences in marketing working with Bharti Airtel in India, Airtel Networks Kenya and Essar telecom Kenya. Mr. Singh holds an MBA Degree with prior training in commerce.

Making the announcement, Airtel Rwanda Managing Director, Mr. Teddy Bhullar said, “With his experience and vast knowledge in the field of marketing, Singh will definitely stir our marketing in the right direction. His charisma and result oriented attitude is the best fit to drive our market growth in Rwanda.”

Mr. Singh will succeed Mr. Karanja Njoroge who successfully led Airtel Rwanda’s Marketing Department since 2013. During his tenure, Mr. Njororge spearheaded major airtel marketing campaigns including the recent market launch of Airtel’s dynamic pricing product Airtel Zone.

The mobile telecommunications industry in Rwanda has already had a transformative effect on the social and economic development of Rwanda owed to strategic marketing tactics that deliver quality products and services. Despite the astounding progress of the mobile industry in recent years, the biggest impact of mobile in Rwanda is yet to come.
