He is skilled in both music and law studies. Alain Mukurarinda a.k.a Alain Muku deplored how some of local artists he didn’t name, do provide more efforts in their carriers only when it comes about huge musical competitions but don’t do so in their daily activities.
Alain Muku said this yesterday as he was chairing a press conference after the inauguration of his Hanga Higa( Be creative and committed, literally) project aimed at discovering and strengthening the apparent talents of Rwandan youth.
For him, Rwandan artists are not committed enough to respective carriers and remain active throughout their carrier as previously done.
This is due to the observed behavior whereby ‘artists’ exercise more during the time closer to competition but remain relatively inactive and this negatively impacts on the music industry in general.
The spokesperson of the General Prosecution, Alain Muku finds that if this weakness persists, it will keep Rwandan artists less competitive both locally and internationally.
He advised artists to highlight the Rwandan culture in their artistic creations.
This will be a musical added value at the international level, he pointed.
Alain Mukuralinda has initiated the Hanga Higa project aimed at helping young Rwandans to raise their talents and develop it with a Rwandan culture accent.
