Official sources affirm that the Amavubi National team coach Johnny McKinstry is fired from his duties. He will not train the team for the forthcoming match between Rwanda and Ghana. The match is meant to help Rwanda get prepared for the 2017 Africa Champions Cup.
Umuseke learnt that coach McKinstry has received an official letter from Rwandan Football Federation , FERWAFA, step out form his duties.
On March this year he signed two years contract to coach the national team.
Throughout his carrier Johnny McKinstry didn’t perform better as Rwanda did not manage to qualify for the coming 2017 CAN.
The remaining match between Rwanda and Ghana next month will not bear tangible results for Rwanda due to its loss in the past match in Kigali.
Rwanda lost the matches with Mozambican and Mauritius in the previous matches held both in Rwanda and abroad.
Since yesterday our sources revealed that McKinstry is likely be fired today or not later than Saturday.
