The Rwandan national football team composed of under twenty young players will attended the COSAFA (Council of South African Football Associations) scheduled to take place from 7-16 December this year. The championship will held in the Moruleng Stadium in the Northern part of South Africa.
Due to financial constraints, Madagascar anounced its withdrawal, giving the opportunity to Rwandan team to join the championship.
The Rwandan football federation affirmed that coach Jimmy Mulisa is the one to train players for that championship.
Mulisa tolld Umuseke that he is searching for better players to train for that purpose as the time for the championship is getting closer.
He added that the championship will be an opportunity for U 20 Rwandan football players to train more for further championships.
Currently Rwandan U20 football players are disqualified for the 2017 CAN scheduled to take place in Mozambique in January 2017.
The COSAFA will be attended by countries that follow: South Africa, Angola, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Namibia, Lesotho, Comoros, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Swaziland, Mauritius, Seychelles and Rwanda.
