Antoine Hey appointed as Head coach of Amavubi

Antoine Hey is German national who is currently set as the Head coach of the Amavubi Rwandan football team in replacement of Jimmy Mulisa.The later was a provisional coach of the Amavubi national team. The 46 years old is to sign a two years contract with the management of the Rwandan Football Association(FERWAFA).

Antoine will replace Jimmy Mulisa who was appointed as the coach of the Amavubi after the former head coach Johnny McKinstry was kicked out.

Hey competed with other 51 coaches from abroad in bid to coach the Rwandan national team.

Antoine Hey alongside other coaches including Raoul Savoy and Rui Aguas, is the most likely to be selected as the head coach.

Antoine Hey played in various renown clubs including the à Schalke 04,  Birmingham City and Anorthosis Famagouste (Cyprus ).

He was set up as head coaches in various nations in Lesotho (2004-2006), Gambia (2006-2007), Liberia (2008-2009), Kenya (2009) and Al-Merreikh  from Sudan (2016 January 2017).
