The renown artist recently elected as a MP, Mr Bamporiki Edwards says he is ready to fulfill his duties as a MP who will strive to promote artists and the Ndi Umunyarwanda’ philosophy.
Parliamentarian Bamporiki said he will be striving to make sure that Rwandans share everything. He adds that the Ndi Umunyarwanda program will be strengthened during his exercise in the MPs.
Recently the Artist Bamporiki has been active in this Ndi Umunyarwanda program where he advocated for the campaign to speak out about that Hutu genocide perpetrators have to apologize for their involvement in the genocide against the Tutsi.
For him uttering the same words used throughout the genocide can be a means to correct the mistakes of the past .
The terminology Hutu is used in the Ndi Umunyarwanda program to express that Hutus were the ones who executed the genocide against the Tutsi but all Hutu did not kill Tutsis, adds Mr Bamporiki.
He warns people who use his thoughts wrongly to mean what he did not want to express. The Ndi Umunyarwanda has created a controversy among Rwandans.
Another duty that Bamporiki is ready to fulfill is to advocate for artists ’empowerment. He told Umuseke that he will keep developing his artistic creations during these years of exercises.
He is committed to eradicate the duplicity of artists’ creations and warns that those people will be legally pursued.
