BPR Bank Robbery in Ruhango Distinct

Yesterday two robbers erupted into the Banque Populaire in Buhanda,Ruhango Distrit ,shot dead a bank worker,Mr Twagiramungu Frederick, took money and fled away.

Wearing face masks,robbers surprised the bank workers  while counting money before leaving the bank.

People in Buhanda told Umuseke that most of public institutions in Buhanda are protected by armed guards hence this kind of deadly robbery.

Until now robbers are free as Police keeps hunting them down.

Umuseke tried to talk to Police but in vain.Another bank worker whose name is not known yet has been wounded by the bullets.

One of the Buhanda residents told Umuseke that Buhanda is an economically growing small city that needs more security.

“But we have security guards with sticks.This is very risky for our money stored in these banks” he continued.
