20, May, 2014, around 11h 15 local time, in Musanze in Busogo Sector a man has been arrested carrying a grenade and a small weapon. The one who was with him ran away and local people are hunting him down.
One of the eyewitnesses at the scene told UM– USEKE that both men were travelling in the street coming from Musanze towards Rubavu.
They were arrested by two people who dressed as civilians. One of them ran away but the remaining one was arrested as he had the heavy bag containing a grenade which hindered him from running as quick as he wished.
The two men who arrested the evil doer first fought with him, trying to arrest him. The local people helped the two men to arrest the evildoer.
The Police intervened and took the person to Police station with the arms he owned. The search for the remaining person is underway. The Police spokesperson in the Northern Province told Umuseke further details will be provided later on.
In recent days, different people from Musanze District have been arrested for their alleged collaboration with the FDLR militias operating in the DRC’s territory and willing to destabilize the Rwandan national security.
