CECAFA Kagame Cup : Rayon Sports qualifies for the quarter finals

Yesterday evening the Rayon sports football team has qualified for the quarter finals in the ongoing CECAFA Kagame Cup in a match that took place in the Kigali-Nyamirambo.

The Rayon sports has scored 1-0 of KMKM from Zanzabar in a match that happened in a heavy rain.

The match started with the commitment of Rayon sports to score in as the striker Yossa Bertrand attempted to score a first goal but the KMKM defenders strongly opposed.

The KMKM goalkeeper has shown the ability to hinder the ball from entering the net and was elected as the best player of the match.

The Rayon Sports has been able to score a  goal due to a shot of Sibomana Abbouba who gave the Rayon sport the chance to be qualified for the quarter finals of CECAFA Kagame Cup.

Before the match between Rayon and KMKM, the Adama city from Ethiopia played with the Atlabara from the South Sudan, The match between both teams equalized. .

The Program of today’s matches are scheduled as follow in the Kigali Regional Stadium:
–Atletico vs Telecom (1:00pm)
-El Merreikh vs Vital’O (3:00pm)
-APR FC vs Gor Mahia (5.00pm).
