She is among the best female singers in Rwanda. Cecile Kayirebwa who normally lives in Belgium conducted a concert yesterday night at Serena Hotel. She did that as she was celebrating her 70 birthday. Her fans wished her a happy and praising birthday.

Kayirebwa was born on November 22, 1946. She thanked fans for supporting her and for having come to attend the concert.
She is one of twelve children. As she went on singing, she was assisted by other Rwandan singers including Muyango, Mariya Yohani, Masamba, among others.
Among her fans there were Senator Rutaremara who knew for so long in the past.
The leading singer has sung some of her best known songs including Tarihinda, None Twaza, Iwacu, Rwanamiza, Ndare, Marebe, Ikizungerezi, among others.
Her songs have been on the top for 50 years ago.
She left Belgium for Rwanda where she has been living since 1973.
But she kept coming to Rwanda to participate into different musical events including festivals and concerts.
