The Hotel Chez Lando located in Remera is one of the oldest hotels that served Rwandans for many decades ago. It went on fire this Saturday morning due to the metal melting activities that were being carried out in one of its rooms, as one of the hotel workers informed Umuseke.rw.
The fire blazed a relatively big part of the Hotel and started in one of its conference rooms , but fortunately, no human life did not perish nor injured by the blazing fire.
Our informant said that as the fire started, workers who saw it, revealed that he and his colleagues tried to stop it at its early stages but in vain.
He said that the most affected tools included the loud speakers among other installed facilities.
The Rwanda National Police, fire brigade, intervened as to stop the fire from spreading even though it was in highly difficult situations.
