The Chairman of the Standing Committee of The National People’s Congress (NPC)and the Speaker of the The Parliament of China), Mr Zhang arrived in Rwanda for an official visit that intends at strengthening the bilateral cooperation between both nations. At his arrival at the Rwandan parliament Mr Zhang held talks with Hon Mukabalisa Donatille at the Rwandan parliament this evening hours.
During his visit, he will be visiting the Kigali Memorial site located at Gisozi. He will also visit different Chinese sponsored projects in Rwanda.
Mr will hold talks with President Kagame after which he will put a foundation stone on the site where China will build a wide complex of ministerial buildings at Kimihurura
Zhang Dejiang arrived in Rwanda as he was in Zambia.
He is accompanied with 50 high ranking people alongside the Rwandan Ambassador in China, Gen Charles Kayonga.
Hon Mukabalisa told reporters that his visit is of tremendous importance to Rwanda as he chose Rwanda among other African nations.
For her, this privilege shows how china upholds bilateral relations between both nations at a high esteem.
Hon Mukabalisa told media that Rwanda and China have nurtured relations for a long time and this should be strengthened and sustained for many years to come.
Talking to Rwandan economic progress, Mr Zhang Dejiang said that Rwanda will achieve its economic party as China has undergone similar path and achieved.
