Cpt Simbikangwa Pascal,suspected to have committed the Genocide against the Tutsi in 1994,will be tried in the coming March 2014 in Paris, France.
He is accused to have planned and implemented the Genocide against the Tutsi in 1994.
His trial will take place on 04 ,March 2014 ,few days before the memorial week on the genocide perpetrated against the Tutsi takes place.
He is known to be among the most cherished military officers of ex-FAR. He is accused to have planned the killings against the Tutsi as one who headed the intelligence services of the Army at that time.
The French Embassy at Kigali is closely working with Rwandan prosecution authorities to assist witnesses to get ready for the accusation sessions to take place in Paris next year .
The Embassy will provide translation devices for the witnesses so to help them to witness effectively.
The Jeune afrique says that the current French collaboration with Rwanda comes in as a means to nurture new positive and lasting relations with the Rwanda after its alleged involvement into the Genocide against the Tutsi.
