The World Doing Business Report 2017 ranked Rwanda at the 56th place in the world. Today the RDB boss Claire Akamanzi said that Rwanda is striving to perform among the first 30 best performers in the World. The World Doing Business Index describes and ranks countries according to their economic policies aimed at easing business establishments.
This includes, among other indicators, the business registration period, taxation and friendly business environment at large.
The RDB boss Akamanzi said that the Rwanda will keep increasing and modernizing its technology in different sectors as to help business start-ups working properly and grow.
She however said that this requires combined efforts between all stakeholders in the sector.
Akamanzi said that all laws regulating the investment sector have been adjusted to the current trends as to fully ease access and as to allow small investors and traders to join and operate properly.
As the press conference went by, other officials from the Kigali city authority revealed that construction procedures are also eased through technological endeavors.
Quick service delivery will ease the business establishment, she added.
The chief office in charge of construction in Kigali city said that the use of technology has significantly increased service delivery in all sectors specifically the construction.
