Joseph Habaneza whose name has been shortened as JOE by the youth has reached the Kigali International airport yesterday, in the evening hours. He comes in Kigali to officially start his new responsibilities as the Minister of Sports and culture.
At the international airport, the former Rwandan ambassador in Nigeria and Ghana was welcomed by journalists, fellow ministry workers and family members.
Don’t except miracles from me, Minister Habineza warned the public. He said that the success in his duties will result from a close partnership between all the actors who will join efforts to achieve desired goals.
He said that issues that were not effectively solved will be dealt through collaborative means of all the concerned bodies.
He thanked the Head of state who entrusted him with new responsibilities and promised to wholeheartedly fulfill them.
Amb Joseph Habineza is one of the most cherished youth and sports ministers for his deeds in areas of sports and entertainment that he realized before being appointed as the Ambassador in Ghana and Nigeria, respectively.
