According to him,all means were made available for voters to vote legally and in security.Agents deployed by NEC were in their respective sites to manage.

The most common challenge was related to the fact that some voters attended without their voting cards but,the problem was handled by using the lists upon which they registered.None was hindered from voting due to the lack of voting card unless those ones who came to vote late.

For special groups, such as journalists, medical care providers …, Munyaneza said that NEC has reserved time for these people.

In Kigali transport system remained the same and people were moving from one area to another to vote especially those ones registered in remote areas.

People living with disabilities and elderly ones were given time to vote first and go back home. Munyaneza said that helping needy people has become a culture among Rwandans.

NEC Executive Secretary Charles Munyaneza

He said that the fact that in some areas observers of RPF were present in the voting rooms should not be a matter of concern because no law obliges all parties to send their observers in voting rooms.

Witnesses and journalists dispatched in different sites affirmed that even  visually impaired people  voted being accompanied by the under 14 years as stipulated by the law.

regarding  the elections in the diaspora, information said that in different countries ,voting was over in the early morning but counting results  was scheduled to start at the same time with locally results.

In the afternoon ,from 3h00 pm the counting results started on time and in general, according to the reporters and observers, the process was smoothly conducted.

Apart from some cases whereby observers were denied to attending the counting of the results, in general the process was productive and effective.

In the morning Mr Munyaneza Charles, the Executive Secretary of NEC said that around 9h00 and 10h00,tendencies about the results will be predicted but ‘not published’.
