Esperance equalizes with As Kigali: 1-1

The AS Kigali which recently has been defeating the most playful teams in Rwanda equalized with the Esperace ( 1-1)during a match that took place yesterday at Mumena Stadium, in Nyamirambo, Kigali City.

The match between both teams did not take place as scheduled because the AS Kigali was presenting Rwanda in the CAF Confederations Cup. The match was good at the eyesight. The first score was made by Niyonzima J.Paul from AS Kigali who managed to pass through the defenders of Esperance and scored first.

The Esperance squad scored next before the first half of the match ended.

During the second half the Esperance football team scores the second goal but the referee denied it pointing that the goal was scored in unfair circumstances.

The match ended while both teams equalized 1-1. Casa Mbungo André the Coach of As Kigali told media that the equalizing is due to the tiredness players have as they have been playing with storing teams without resting

At the other hand, Camarade the coach of the Esperance FC lauded the efforts provided by his crew members as the team has equalized with the AS Kigali.
This has given us an added point that gives us the chance to remain in the first division during this championship, he revealed.
