The former State Minister in the Ministry of natural resources Evode Imena told the court that he is not well prepared for the court hearing. He said that as he appeared in the High court to respond to the accusations from the prosecution that calls for his imprisonment as the court has released him as further investigations are going on.
Evode Imena told the court that the call for his court hearing delivered by the prosecution delayed to reach him.
This fact hinders me from getting well prepared for the court appearance, he told the court.
There are lacking documents that would help in getting well prepared for the defense, Evode Imena told the body of judges.
He urged the court to provide him with two more days to get well prepared for the court hearing as wished by the prosecution.
However the prosecution representatives said that the accused should be ready for the court hearing as his co-accused(namely Kayumba Francous and Joseph Kagabo) are well prepared.
The court stated that the court hearing will take place on March, 10, 2017 on 8h am early on morning.
