As recently, the issue of the foreign players who claim to be Rwandans while their foreign raised much controvesy, the Rwandan football federation started an assessment as to find the ones who lied about their real identity. After that the Federation published a list of the players who lied about their real identity.

Tahata Houssein( a Congolese) : nicknamed Sibomana was an AS Kigali’player.
Kizosi Rodrigue Mapwa( a Burundian): nicknamed Mapwa Rodrigue was a Musanze player.
Ndikumana Hamadi(a Burundian) : nicknamed Katauti played for Amavubi national team.
Saidi Abedi ( a Congolese) played for both Amavubi and Espoir.
Keita Moninga Walusambo ( a Congolese) played for Espoir he was nicknamed Kayumba Emmanuel.
Mukamba Jean Baptiste : is a Burundian who played for Espoir FC.
Mumbele Saiba Claude:is a Congolese who played for AS Muhanga.
Peter Otema: (Kagabo Peter) is a Ugandan who played the Rayon sports with a Rwanda ID card.
Moussa Ndusha: (Habimana Moussa) is a Congolese who played for the Police FC,
Kawuma Charles: is a Ugandan owning a Rwandan ID.
Nyambo Ombeni: is a Burundian playing for Mukura FC.
