After one year with KPL champions Gor Mahia, Rwandan midfielder Jean Baptiste Mugiraneza is back to Rwanda to join APR FC. He has started training in this Rwandan APR FC after signing a 18 months contract with the black-and-white dressed team.

The player who will put on number seven (7) as always, has inked a deal with the club yesterday.

After having an unconvincing spell with the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Gor Mahia during his one year stay following his acquisition from Tanzanian moneybags Azam FC in December 2016, Mugiraneza made a transfer request and was approved by Gor leaders.

The experienced midfielder started trainings with his teammates from APR FC under coach Jimmy Mulisa.

APR FC team is undergoing intensive training as to get ready for the coming yearly Heroes Cup tournament, which is scheduled to take place from 23 January to 1, Februaryat Amahoro National Stadium.

Migi as he is commonly known by his peers began his career with La Jeunesse FC and SC Kiyovu Sport in 2006 but moved to league rivals APR FC a year later.

After seven years as an APR player, he signed a two year deal with Tanzanian teams namely  Azam FC before penning a two year deal with Gor Mahia at the start of the 2017 season.
