Rwanda:from June 18, 2013: New prices for super petrol and diesel

The Ministry of Trade and Industry announces that starting this Tuesday the basic price for both super petrol and diesel must not exceed 1,000 FRW per liter.

This reduction in fuel prices is mainly due to the reduction in oil prices on the international market in the last three weeks.

The prices of fuel have been changed three times recently in Rwanda. The first time was in January where the price was 1,000 FRW per liter and the second time was in March when the price came to be 1,050 FRW.

Due to the economical crisis, many hope they will benefit from this reduction to do their business in the coming weeks as transport fees importantly impact on people’s  daily budget.
