The Ghanaian football team , the Black Stars, landed in Kigali international airport last night with its leading players such as captain Gyan Asamoah and the Israeli coach Avram Grant. Tomorrow the team will be playing with the Amavubi national team at Amahoro National team.
According to the timetable, the Ghanaian team was expected to reach Kigali early middle day but it changed its timetable due to unnamed circumstances and it arrived in the late night houses.
Not less than 50 fans were at the Airport to eyewitness the international superstars including Andre Dede Ayew son of the internationally recognized football super star Abedi Ayew Pele.
He is one of the pillars of this team. He plays for the Swansea in England Premium League and has recently scored against Manchester United last week-end.
Dede Ayew told our reporter that he delighted to be back in Rwanda due to the hospitality he received lastly when his team was playing for the U20 championship was talking place.
He, at the side, warned Rwandan team Amavubi for its defeat against the black stars.
He admitted that the tomorrow’s match will be played seriously and Black Stars will win it, at any cost.
Both the Captain of the Black stars, Gyan Asamoah and the coach Avram Grant are committed to win over the Amavubi.
Capt Asamoah said that he does have much information about the Amavubi but, according to him the aim is to play a revenge-like match with Amavubi as the later has disqualified Ghana to compete in the CAN 2004.
The Black Stars is hosted in Serena Hotel in Nyarugenge district.
