Murekeyisoni Ellen the bride and Bikorimana Eliphaz the groom have wed today during a weeding ceremony that took place at Gitwe Sector office, in Ruhango district, South Province. Both are albinos and have fallen in love for many years ago.
Experience has shown that albinos people are marginalized by others. This marginalization has prompted some of them to feel worthless and therefore don’t participate into activities that otherwise could benefit them.
However, the today’s wed couple has shown that they overcame such hindrances and have wed today. Early this morning, both the bride and the groom arrived the office of the Gitwe sector to make an oath for everlasting marital union.
The invited guests were proud of them. In 2013, Murekeyisoni has told UM– USEKE that she is not ashamed of her being albinos, expressing her commitment to develop herself and the nation at large.
The co-workers of Ellen expressed their contentment for the weeding ceremony of Ellen and Elezaphan .
The Rector of ISPG, Dr. Jéred Rugengande promised the newly wed family to receive the school more support even in the soon-to-be held official and definite weeding ceremony.
