Dr Frank Habineza, the Leader and Founder of the Green Party, affirmed that the party will not participate into the legislative elections to take place next September.
Last week the party received a legal recognition as political party operating in Rwanda. But the date to present its candidates to these elections was drawing closer.
The Party’s president Dr Habineza Frank announced that the party is not ready to present its candidates to the soon-to -come legislative elections due to time barriers and operational procedures to enabling the party to present candidates and compete effectively.
However the Party claims to be ready to present its candidates for the 2015 local government leaders and the Presidential elections scheduled to take place in 2017.
