He sexually abused a mentally ill patient.

A patient from Nemba  in Gakenke District has been sexually abused by a medical care provider.

The incident has happened on 17^th, June 2013 and has been made public by Dr Habimana Jean Baptiste, The Head of the Hospital. The young girl is 17 years old. Report says that the girl contacted the office in charge of social service for patients to report the event.

The worker suspected to have committed the crime is named Ndayishimiye Delimo and is now put in jail in Gakenke Police Station.

The administration of the Hospital suspects Ndayishimiye because he was in the service during the time the event is supposed to have taken place.

Ndayishimiye is ‘known’ as a sexually active person who, according to local inhabitants, engages into sexual intercourse with other people’s wifes.

The General Persecutor in Gakenke District, Mr. Chief Supt Gahima Francis confirms Ndayishimiye is put  in jail but does not provide more details as the investigation continues.
