Huye: A thief is shot dead as he attempted to steal in financial cooperative

This happened in the South Province as three thieves attacked a financial cooperative called SACCO in Rwaniro sector, Huye district. One of them was shot dead by security agents who intervened accordingly.

 The executive secretary of the Rwaniro sector Sebarinda Frederic told Umuseke that news concerning the robbery was divulged to them and this helped in setting up measures to capture them.

 As one of them tried to break the window to allow others enter and steal the money inside, security keepers shot them killing one of them but others fled.

The dead one was a young person, handsome one.  He was paperless as no identification was with him. The escaped ones are under special hunt to arrest them and bring them to the prosecution.
