This Evening, 03 April, President Kagame met with his counterpart Kenyatta who was coming from EU-Africa Summit held in Brussels. The talks between both Heads of States lasted for an hour. The details about the talks between both Leaders are not yet officially published . But Kenyan President Office said talks focused on development issues.
The talks took place after few hours that the H.E Paul Kagame arrived in Kigali from attending the EU- Africa Summit in Brussels
The Kenyan President Protocol officials informed that President Kenyatta was to visit Rwanda before heading to Nairobi.
No more information on the discussions between both Heads of States were provided but the Kenyan President Office communicated that talks were based on the economic partnership between both EAC nations.
Rwanda and Kenya nurtured strong partnerships in different areas such as infrastructure development and trade exchanges.
Both nations also combine effort to arrest a genocide suspect, Kabuga Felician who is accused to have provided the Interahamwe militia with machetes to kill the Tutsi during the 1994 genocide.
